The Alvito Social Club was founded in 1977 by Aldo Macioce. For over 25 years it has gathered Italians across Toronto together for many social events. It was named after the small town in Frosinone, Italy; the town where the first president Aldo was born. His vision of the Alvito Social Club was to bring together the people of the town who immigrated to Canada. This vision has evolved to bringing together Italians across Ontario. Now almost 300 members are affiliated with the club and it is vastly growing. The Alvito Social Club holds an annual picnic every year traditionally, and looks for new ideas which can improve the club. If you have any suggestions just click on the guestbook, or email the committee at info@alvitoclub.com.
